Ignite Proteomics operates a CLIA/CAP-certified clinical laboratory and is committed to protecting the privacy and security of protected health information (PHI) in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), the HITECH Act, and applicable regulations.
This Website and PHI
This public website is a marketing and investor-information site. It is not a patient portal and should not be used to transmit protected health information. Please do not include personal health details in website forms or general email. Patient reports and clinical information are handled through secure, access- controlled channels separate from this Site.
How We Protect PHI
- Administrative, physical, and technical safeguards consistent with the HIPAA Security Rule.
- Access to PHI limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
- Business Associate Agreements with vendors who may handle PHI on our behalf.
- Encryption of PHI in transit and at rest within our clinical systems.
Patient Rights
Patients have rights regarding their health information, including the right to access, request amendments to, and receive an accounting of disclosures of their PHI, as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices provided through clinical channels.
